<p>The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for decoding an electronic document in a mobile environment and, more specifically, to a method and an apparatus for decoding encoded data of an electronic document partially received in a mobile environment, and integrating encoded data of the electronic document, additionally received afterwards, with the previously received encoded data to decode the integrated data. The method for decoding the electronic document in the mobile environment according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of; checking whether receiving the encoded data is finished; in the case of receiving only a portion of the encoded data, performing a temporary decoding operation based on the received fragmented encoded data and storing the fragmented encoded data; and in the case of receiving the remaining encoded data and finishing receiving the encoded data after receiving the fragmented encoded data, decoding the encoded data based on the fragmented encoded data and the remaining encoded data. The present invention, in the case of receiving an e-mail or the electronic document in the mobile environment, may store and check partially received encoded data and continuously receive the remaining encoded data in addition to the prestored encoded data, thereby being capable of using the complete encoded data without losing time and costs.</p> |
