<p>Apparatus 10 for performing physical training exercises comprises: a member 20 comprising a length of tubing and including an exterior surface having a central longitudinal axis X and defining at least one pair of receivers 24, axially-spaced from one another; wherein each receiver 24 is defined by a longitudinal axis and an aperture A formed through the exterior surface of the member 20. The length of tubing may be square, rectangular, triangular, oval, circular or multi-sided. The receivers 24 preferably include handles 34 and may include a bar extending through the tubular member 20 which may receive additional weights. An apparatus 10 including a hollow tubular member and end caps which can be filled with a weighting agent is also disclosed; as is an apparatus including a solid tubular member.</p> |
