END GIRD SLIDING TYPE DEVICE FOR EXPANSION JOINT OF BRIDGE

The present invention relates to an expansion joint device for a bridge and, more specifically, relates to an expansion joint device for a bridge which is not expanded in a laying gap between an end of the slabs or girders, but is expanded in each end of the slabs or the girders. According to the present invention, the expansion joint device for a bridge comprises: end protection supporters fixated on an expand mortar layer placed on the ends of the slabs or the girders of a bridge by stud bolts; elastic members attached to a top surface of a horizontal plate of the end protection supporters; a cover plate to close a laying gap between the ends of the slabs or the girders while both ends are held on the elastic members; separation prevention units to hold the top surface or a bottom surface of the cover plate to prevent separation of the cover plate; and a drain for a water receiver connected between an outer vertical plate of the end protection supporters to be arranged under the cover plate. Also, the present invention has an expansion space expanded while maintaining a predetermined distance between both ends of the cover plate and an inner vertical plate of the end protection supporters.
