In order to provide a generic optical connection device having advantageous properties with regard to a coupling of two optical printed circuit boards, it is proposed that the optical connection device has at least one guide unit (24a; 24b; 24c), which at least partly guides the at least one optical waveguide (22a; 22b; 22c) proceeding from the at least one first coupling unit (12a; 12b; 12c) to the at least one second coupling unit (18a; 18b; 18c).</p>
