<p>The invention is based on an optical connection device (10a; 10b; 10c) comprising at least one first coupling unit (12a; 12b; 12c), which defines a first beam direction (14a; 14b; 14c) and is provided for coupling to at least one first optical printed circuit board (16a), comprising at least one second coupling unit (18a; 18b; 18c), which defines a second beam direction (20a; 20b; 20c) and is provided for coupling to at least one second optical printed circuit board, wherein the first beam direction (14a; 14b; 14c) forms an angle of at least substantially 90° with the second beam direction (20a; 20b; 20c), and comprising at least one optical waveguide (22a; 22b; 22c) arranged between the at least one first coupling unit (12a; 12b; 12c) and the at least one second coupling unit (18a; 18b; 18c). In order to provide a generic optical connection device having advantageous properties with regard to a coupling of two optical printed circuit boards, it is proposed that the optical connection device has at least one guide unit (24a; 24b; 24c), which at least partly guides the at least one optical waveguide (22a; 22b; 22c) proceeding from the at least one first coupling unit (12a; 12b; 12c) to the at least one second coupling unit (18a; 18b; 18c).</p> |
