Disclosed is an anaerobic tank for an advanced wastewater treatment apparatus. The anaerobic tank for an advanced wastewater treatment apparatus of the present invention comprises: a reservoir water block having a internal space for reservoir water; a wastewater supplying pipe dropping the wastewater in free fall from the upper part of the reservoir water block to transport the same into the reservoir water block; and a vortex generating part provided on an internal bottom surface of the reservoir water block to generate vortex in a lower domain of the reservoir water block by contacting with the wastewater supplied from the wastewater supplying pipe. According to the present invention, it is possible to sufficiently remove nitrogen and phosphorus without a use of an additional driving apparatus for internal stirring and circulation.
