Systems and methods of recovering a shared information source can involve identifying a first user of a shared information source in response to detection of a data loss with respect to the shared information source. One or more additional users of the shared information source may be identified based on data associated with the first user. Additionally, the shared information source can be recovered based at least in part on data associated with the one or more additional users.

a computer readable storage medium; and computer usable code stored on the computer readable storage medium, where, if executed by a processor, the computer usable code causes a computer to: identify by a communication, in response to a data loss for a shared information source, with a first device previously used to access the shared information source one or more additional devices previously used to access the shared information source; identify by a subsequent communication with each of the one or more additional devices previously used to access the shared information source one or more further additional devices previously used to access the shared information source; and reconstruct the shared information source based at least in part on content obtained from the first device, the one or more additional devices, and the one or more further additional devices.
