PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer that cuts label paper in accordance with the length of printing and in which glue attachment to a cutting blade is suppressed.SOLUTION: Label paper 210 of a printer 1 has adhesive parts 211 and non-adhesive parts 212 formed so as to cross in a direction inclining with respect to both the length direction of the label paper 210 and the width direction orthogonal to the length direction. Thus, a cutting blade 27 naturally cuts both the adhesive part 211 and the non-adhesive part 212. This reduces an area where the cutting blade 27 comes into contact with the adhesive part 211, thereby suppressing glue attachment to the cutting blade 27. Consequently, the maintenance frequency of the cutting blade 27 is decreased. |
