A software development assistance device (200) generates, in response to user operation, design information for developing software for actual equipment (300), and transfers data corresponding to the design information to the actual equipment (300). Thus, each time design information is generated, the actual equipment (300) receives data corresponding to that design information and is actually operated according to that design information. The software development assistance device (200) comprises: a design function unit which generates, in response to user operation, design information for developing software for the actual equipment (300); a source code generation function unit which generates source code for operating the actual equipment (300), on the basis of the design information; and a communication function unit which transfers the source code to the actual equipment (300) in order to operate the actual equipment (300). The actual equipment (300) comprises a communication function unit which receives the source code, a compiler unit which decodes the source code and generates object code, and an execution unit which executes the object code on a virtual machine. |
