A system comprising: a suture assembly including an anchor, and a least one suture having an end engaged to the anchor, having barbed zones, and a barb free zone distant from the anchor, wherein the barbs are inclined toward the anchor and/or away from the barb free zone, a sharpened shaft configured to bore a channel through the facial tissue of a patient, a cannula configured to surround the sharpened shaft during boring, and a pushing rod configured to transport the suture assembly into the cannula after the shaft has been withdrawn. In particular, the anchor comprises a stopper, the stopper comprising a rigid portion and a resilient portion projecting from the rigid portion. |
