The decorative facing covering material is configured as a dry mixture and comprises an organic filler, a water-thinnable binder and a dye powder. Wood meal is used as the organic filler. The percentage of the water-thinnable binder constitutes 3-40% of the percentage of the wood meal. The invention makes it possible to increase the strength of the covering.
