The present invention relates to electric machines (EM), such as electric motors and electric generators which convert electrical energy into mechanical energy and mechanical energy into electricity respectively, including linear motion EMs, non-linear motion EMs and rotary (turning) motion EMs. More particularly, the present invention relates to an EM induction system operating method and device, said induction system comprising two main magnetic coupling subsystems, for example a subsystem comprising permanent magnets and a subsystem comprising electromagnets. Furthermore, the EM induction system comprises at least one special characteristic chosen from the group consisting of the following types (a)-(c): (a) it is configured as a multiple-vector (MV) system, and the induction system is configured such as to provide multiple-vector coupling; (b) at least one of the permanent magnets is chosen from the group containing: a closed laminated permanent magnet; and a U-shaped antisymmetric group of permanent magnets; (c) the induction system is vertically configured of multiple rows and comprises, in a vertical direction, two or more electromagnetic induction units. |
