PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a three-dimensional molded article, which can efficiently manufacture a three-dimensional molded article with excellent dimensional accuracy while effectively preventing generation of defects.SOLUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing a three-dimensional article manufactures a three-dimensional molded article by repeatedly forming and stacking a layer 1 by using a paste type composition containing a powder material. The apparatus includes a stage 41 where the composition is imparted to form the layer, and a side face support part 45 that supports a side face of the layer. The stage is vertically movable relative to the side face support part. The apparatus is provided with adhesion preventive means 7 that prevents the above composition from adhering to the surface of the side face support part.
