PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of detecting abnormalities in a fuel cell.SOLUTION: An abnormality detection device 1 comprises: a temperature acquisition unit 11 which acquires, as a typical temperature T, a temperature at a predetermined position in a fuel cell cartridge having a plurality of cell stacks; a current detection unit 12 which detects an output current Iout in the fuel cell cartridge; a voltage detection unit 13 which detects an output voltage Vout in the fuel cell cartridge; an estimated voltage value acquisition unit 14 which uses information set according to the typical temperature T of the fuel cell cartridge so as to acquire an estimated voltage value Vref of the fuel cell cartridge that corresponds to the output current Iout detected by the current detection unit 12; and an abnormality determination unit 15 which performs abnormality determination with the use of the estimated voltage value Vref and the output voltage Vout detected by the voltage detection unit 13.
