<p>Disclosed is an apparatus for controlling an adaptive modulation scheme. The apparatus for controlling an adaptive modulation scheme is configured to: calculate fade margin that may guarantee request availability according to link distance between nodes of a microwave communications system; derive at least one modulation scheme satisfying the request availability from the calculated fade margin; and set a priority transmission capacity and a total transmission capacity, and a bandwidth of the modulation scheme corresponding to the priority transmission capacity and the total transmission capacity, based on the derived modulation scheme. Accordingly, the present invention is capable of: allowing a modulation scheme satisfying the request availability to be predetermined and used; calculating effective priority transmission capacity, total transmission capacity, and bandwidth; improving transmission performance of the microwave communications system; and reducing waste of radio resources.</p> |
