This latching-relay drive circuit (1) contains the following: a transistor (M1) that turns off when a control switch (SW) opens; and a transistor (M2) that is connected in parallel with a capacitor (C1) and a control coil (L1), and when the other transistor (M1) turns off, turns on and allows a reset current to flow through the control coil (L1). As such, even if the supply of power is interrupted by a power outage, a sufficient reset current is supplied, reliably resetting a single-winding latching relay. |
