The striker (16) is arranged in a bearing (29). The striker (16) has a lateral surface (25) and a stop surface (27) directed in the percussion direction (11). The bearing (29) has a sleeve (30) arranged coaxially with the working axis (10) and a backstop (32). The lateral surface (25) of the striker (16) is guided in a sliding manner on the inner side of the sleeve (30). The backstop (32) is arranged in front of the stop surface (27) of the striker (16) in the percussion direction (11) in order to limit a movement of the striker (16) in the percussion direction (11). A link (35) is provided for setting the striker (16) into relative motion with respect to the bearing (29) when the striker (16) moves in the percussion direction (11). The link (35) presents a flank (42; 53) to the striker (16) and a flank (49; 55) to the bearing (29), wherein the two flanks (42; 53, 49; 52) bearing against one another during the movement advance in the same circumferential direction (39) in the percussion direction (11).
