The appliance has a working chamber (40) housing a pressing head (70) having a pressing screw (20) driven in rotation in a filter (30') fixed axially by a lid (46) of the working chamber. The pressing head includes an axial head (71) housed in a bearing (90) mounted in the lid. The axial head includes a metallic end (72) resting on a metal support surface (91) placed at the bottom of the bearing, where the metallic end of the axial head is hemispherical or ogival, and the metallic end of the axial head is made out of martensitic stainless steel.
