A side gate locking device of a container of a commercial vehicle is disclosed. According to the present invention, the side gate locking device of a container of a commercial vehicle comprises: a first fixing bracket of which one end is installed in a side gate and the other end has an opening hole facing a front panel; a second fixing bracket installed in the front panel and where a hook penetrating the opening hole protrudes; and a coupling unit of which one end is installed in the front panel and the other end is coupled to the hook.
