<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly versatile reflector which allows detection sensitivity of a fluorescence detection part to be easily improved at low cost, exerting no influence on electrophoresis and electroosmotic flow; and a capillary electrophoretic analyzer having the same. <P>SOLUTION: A reflector encloses a part of a capillary and includes an excitation light incident part through which excitation light passes, an excitation light reflection part which reflects the incident excitation light coming through the excitation light incident part and allows fluorescent light to pass through, and a reflection part which reflects the excitation light and the fluorescent light.
