Disclosed are an air electrode using a nanofiber-shaped perovskite metal oxide as a catalyst for a lithium-air battery and a method for manufacturing the same. The air electrode for a lithium-air battery can comprise a metal oxide nanofiber catalyst having a perovskite structure of a general formula: A_(1-x)A′_xB_(1-y)B′_yO_3, wherein x is 0.0-1.0; and y is 0.0-1.0. The metal oxide nanofiber catalyst includes porous air holes, and has a polycrystalline nanofiber shape. |
