<p>The fitting (10) has a fitting cap covering an end region (12) of a fitting housing (14) and provided with a through-passage (30). An actuating lever (36) is arranged outside the cap and connected through the through-passage. A support ring (28) is arranged on a control cartridge (16). A deformable annular covering element (58) is provided with rims (60, 62), fastened by way of one of the rims and engaged in sealing manner by way of the other rim around an actuating shaft (34) or a connecting element (32) to prevent contaminants from penetrating into the cartridge, and faces the cartridge. The through-passage is a slot-like through-passage. The deformable annular covering element is made of rubber elastic.</p> |
