PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for treating hydroponic drainage, hardly causing clogging in a filter even if drainage occurs intermittently.SOLUTION: This method for treating the hydroponic drainage includes installing a strainer 11 with a filter 14 catching plant pieces on a drainage channel 10 in hydroponic facilities 1, connecting a gas induction path 40 with an induction valve WA with the strainer 11 or the upper stream drainage channel 10, and pushing out water and oxygen in the strainer 11 by introducing inactive gas from the gas induction path 40 when drainage from the drainage channel 10 is stopped. It is preferable to push out oxygen in the strainer 11 by introducing inactive gas G after introducing compressed air (A) from the gas induction path 40 when drainage from the drainage channel 10 is stopped, and pushing out water in the strainer 11. It is more preferable to install a strainer 51 with a pre-filter 54 with pores rougher than those of the filter 14 on the upper stream drainage channel 10 of the strainer 11 with the filter 14, connect the gas induction path 40 with the induction valve WA with the strainer 51 with the pre-filter 54 or the upper stream drainage channel 10, and push out water and oxygen in both the strainers 11 and 51 when drainage from the drainage channel 10 is stopped. |
