1. A waste liquid container which is attachable and detachable to a device including a discharging portion which discharges waste liquid and can store the waste liquid which is discharged from the discharging portion in a state of being mounted on the device comprising:
a protrusion which protrudes from a side wall of the waste liquid container and is disposed lower in a vertical direction than a guide portion which is provided in the device such that a top surface of the protrusion contacts a bottom surface of the guide portion in the state of being mounted on the device, wherein the protrusion has a first portion that is disposed below a functional part of the liquid waste container that has a thickness that is thicker than the other portions of the protrusion.
