<p>A character input unit sets a keyboard image including a plurality of character keys to which a plurality of characters are assigned and an input character display area in a touch panel and accepts a control of the keyboard image. For a character key (10A) in which touchdown is detected, a small area including a detection point (P) of the touchdown is set to be specified in the case of the character key (10A) divided into a plurality of small areas (r) and a plurality of determination areas (S0 to S1) individually corresponding to the characters assigned to the character key (10A) with respect to a location of the specified small area (r) are set to be distributed. Afterwards, when a touch-up is detected, a character corresponding to the determination area including the detection point is selected as an input character and displayed in the input character display area of the touch panel.</p> |
