A method for implementing a virtual switch function by means of an optical fiber channel, and a node device, which relate to the field of optical fiber communications. The method comprises: in a point-to-point network, a first node device with port N and port F functions enabled receiving an FLOGI request initiated by a second node device, and the first node device allocating a peer port ID and feeding back an ACC carrying the peer port ID to the second node device; the first node device receiving a PLOGI request initiated by the second node device, and implementing a PLOGI operation with the second node device; and the first node device receiving FC attribute information registered by the second node device. A technical scheme of the present application, for small-scale networking, uses the virtual switch function to solve a compatibility problem in the point-to-point network and reduces increased costs caused by using a switch. |
