<p>A thermostable biopharmaceutical composition with potent anti-microbial activity wherein the same comprises a mixture of bioactive metabolites in the culture supernatant of Burkholderia gladioli OR-1, isolated from rhizospheric soil of cowpea. The composition harvested after suitable culture conditions, shows activity against drug resistant bacteria including the clinical pathogens such as Acinetobacter CBC, Citrobacter freundii, Enterobacter species and Staphylococcus aureus and drug resistant fungi such as Aspergillus species, Candida albicans, C. tropicalis and Penicillium species.</p> |
