According to an embodiment of the present invention, an ethernet for control automation technology (EtherCAT) control device comprises: a master including a dummy EtherCAT slave controller (ESC); and a first slave for performing data communications according to the master and an EtherCAT protocol. The mater synchronizes a time according to the first slave and a precision time protocol (PTP) method by using the dummy ESC. Accordingly, the EtherCAT control device can prevent an effect of a jitter, thereby performing communications with a robot at a high speed.
