The purpose of the present invention is to provide a sensor device that makes it possible to easily and reliably measure the deformation amount and the like of an object to be measured. This sensor device is provided with: a sensor element that includes a sheet-like dielectric layer that comprises an elastomer composition and an electrode layer that comprises a conductive composition containing carbon nanotubes and that is formed so that at least one part thereof sandwiches the dielectric layer and faces each of the front surface and the rear surface of the dielectric layer, said sensor element using the facing parts of the electrode layer as a detection section and reversibly deforming so that the surface area of the main surface of the dielectric layer varies; a converter that is electrically connected with the sensor element and that converts the capacitance of the detection section, which varies in accordance with deformation of the dielectric layer, into electrical characteristics; and an output device that outputs the electrical characteristics as information that can be recognized using one of the five senses.
