[Class 119] An air pistol comprises a charging lever j which is mounted on a pivot j on the lower part of the stock g and the upper part j<2> of this lever closes the breech and also provides an air passage j<3> from the plunger cylinder a to the pistol barrel b. The lever j closes the rear of the stock, which is pivoted' at f<2> and connected by a pivot h<2> with a link h pivoted to a sliding piece h<3> engaging the spring plunger c. To charge the pistol, the lever is swung through 180 degrees till it engages the bottom g2 of the stock, which with the link hand plunger c, it carries with it until an annular groove c3 is held by the sear i<1>. The parts are then returned and the lever j is relocked by a spring plunger k.
