HEAT EXCHANGER AND AIR CONDITIONAL HAVING THE SAME

The present invention relates to a heat exchanger and an air conditioner having the same, enabling a refrigerant to variably flow with respect to an air-conditioning mode. The heat exchanger comprises: a plurality of refrigerant tubes; a first header and a second header coupled to both ends of the refrigerant tubes; at least one flow pipe connected to one of the first header and the second heater for enabling the refrigerant to bypass the refrigerant tubes; and a solenoid valve installed on at least one flow pipe for controlling flow of the refrigerant which flows through the refrigerant tubes. The heat exchanger can have optimal performance and efficiency in each driving mode by varying a flow path of the refrigerant with respect to the driving mode of the air conditioner.
