This light source apparatus is provided with an optical member having a light-impinging surface of planar shape, which is impinged upon by light emitted from a light source unit. The optical member is provided with an adhesive surface for adhesion to the surface of a base by means of an adhesive. The adhesive surface is formed to curved surface shape of constant distance from a reference line lying in the parallel direction or a direction of oblique intersection, with respect to the light-impinging surface. The optical member is adhered to the surface of the base in such a way that the reference line is parallel to the surface of the base.
