Improved geolocation device. The geolocation device comprises: a requester (10) arranged so as to obtain signalling data associating mobile communication device identifiers (6) and signalling identifiers, certain at least of the signalling identifiers designating a location cell, a selector (12) arranged so as to determine a list of neighbour location cells of a target location cell on the basis of the set of cells situated at a chosen distance from the target location cell, the distance chosen being defined in a metric manner or as a function of the topology of the network of cells, a sorter (14) arranged so as to select from the data of the requester (10) at least one mobile communication device (9) identifier detected as being associated with a signalling identifier relating to a location cell belonging to the list of neighbour location cells determined by the selector (12), and a tracker (16) arranged so as to trigger an active monitoring of location cell of a mobile communication device (9) whose mobile device identifier has been selected by the sorter (14). |
