FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of indicating a highly toxic component of rocket fuel - unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine (UDMH). Disclosed is indicator paint as an indication means designed for visual detection of leaks and spills of UDMH after application on the surface of equipment or container in the form of an indicator coating. The paint contains Malachite green and safranin T phosphotungstate, vinyl chloride and vinylidene chloride copolymer VCVD-40, pigments and filler, and a mixture of organic solvents.EFFECT: disclosed indicator paint has a long service life, provides resistance of the coating to moisture and different types of lubricants, and a stable contrast indication effect.3 tbl, 3 ex |
