<p>Object With regard to a muffler system with a protector for a motorcycle in which the upper surface of a muffler placed inclining upward from front to back in the vicinity of a seat for a rider is covered with a muffler protector, it is intended that diffusion of hot air toward a lateral side of the seat should be prevented by curbing a rise in the temperature of the muffler protector, that the muffler system with a protector should be constructed in a smaller size, and that the external appearance should be enhanced. Solving Means A muffler (M) placed near a seat for a rider, which is inclined upward from front to back in line with a front-rear direction of a vehicle body, is provided with a plate-shaped protector stay (PS1) for covering an outer surface of the muffler (M). Front and rear openings (35), (36) are formed between the outer surface of the muffler (M) and front and rear portions of the protector stay (PS1), and the protector stay (PS1) is provided with a muffler protector (MP) for covering the upper surface of the muffler (M).</p> |
