The present invention is applied to the industrial sector of the leather and tanning. Advantages of the foregoing invention for the state-of-the-art are: the great absorption of natural grease secreted by the face and hands of human beings along with a soft and delicate touch sensation; a moisture ranging from 14% to 16%, without requiring the application of alcohol or other chemical product for cleaning the surfaces and with a durability of the product 5 folds higher than that of the competence with an easy maintenance. The process is characterized in that a) the Rivera step provides 100% Mexican calf leather, which is treated with salt by the meat side, after slaughter, the salt having a grain size ranging from 1-3 mm of diameter; b) in the tanning step, the tanning is performed in a tank containing a bath of 3% of trivalent chromium; c) in the re-tanning step, the re-tanning is performed with synthetic phenols and resin and greased with natural oil such as soy lecithin and other sy nthetics resulting from oil. |
