PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for limiting power or power consumption of a system such as a processor or a computer chip, and such a system.SOLUTION: A power control apparatus comprises: power accumulation means 120 for accumulating power information related to power consumed during issues of instructions; a comparison part 250 for comparing the accumulated power information with a predetermined threshold; and a control part 260, when the accumulated power information exceeds the predetermined threshold, for preventing further instructions from being issued to reduce power consumption in a system. |
