<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical receiver, which restores a high frequency information signal from an optical signal transmitted through an optical cable, capable of transmitting to a receiver the high frequency information signal after the restoration, with a low loss.SOLUTION: From an optical signal output terminal 6 of a wall face unit 4, an optical reception unit 2 fetches an optical signal into a device body 20 through an optical signal input terminal 10 and an optical cable 12, and restores from the output signal a television broadcast signal, to separate the television signals of BS broadcast and CS broadcast from UHF band television signals such as terrestrial wave television broadcast. Then, the television signals of the BS broadcast and the CS broadcast are output from an F-type connector 32 assembled on the housing of the device body 20, whereas the other television signals are output from an F-type connector 34 disposed at the tip of a coaxial cable 36.</p> |
