<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parapet ventilation structure which is capable of discharging for ventilation the interior air of the parapet portion without the intervention of a cover member and allows smooth ventilation without the intervention of the cover member and whose cover member can be safely utilized as a hand rail by a user because projected upper surfaces and draining members are not provided unlike a ventilation ridge for an eaves ventilation. <P>SOLUTION: A parapet portion used with the outer wall and the like of a veranda is provided with parapet apertures that open the parapet at its upper end. A ventilation body is provided therein with an air passage, which allows air to pass from the opening portion of the body on the interior side to the opening portion on the exterior side. The ventilation body is attached to the parapet portion so that the air is allowed to pass between the parapet apertures and the ventilation body opening portion. A cover member is then attached over the top of the ventilation body. A screen plate is rotatably attached in the air passage of the ventilation body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
