<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin planar lighting device having an inclined surface formed in the vicinity of a light-incident end surface, and stably obtaining excellent luminance characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: In the planar lighting device 10, a light guide plate 11 includes an inclined part 31 formed between a light-incident end surface 14 and an emission part 32 and having an inclined surface 16 whose thickness gradually decreases from the light-incident end surface side 14 toward the emission part 32. An FPC 21 is arranged from the inclined surface 16 side in the light guide plate 11, and is equipped with a mounting part 21a with LEDs 22 mounted thereon, a folded part 21b folded against the mounting part 21a and fixed to the inclined surface 16, and a notch formation part 23 fitted along a folded position f which is a boundary between the mounting part 21a and the folded part 21b for reducing folding reaction force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
