<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect electronic devices from disturbance such as shock. <P>SOLUTION: A first housing 1 comprises a first positioning hole 51 and a second positioning hole 52. A protective cover 10 comprises a first projecting member 14 and a second projecting member 15. The first positioning hole 51 and the second positioning hole 52 have circular and oblong holes 51a and 51b and circular and oblong holes 52a and 52b, respectively. With such a constitution, the first housing 1 (a notebook computer) can be fastened to the protective cover 10 by inserting the first projecting member 14 and the second projecting member 15 into the circular holes 51a and 52a, respectively, and then sliding the first housing 1 in such a manner that a shaft part 14b of the first projecting member 14 and a shaft part 15b of the second projecting member 15 are moved into the respective oblong holes 51b and 52b.
