<p>The system (14) has a spiral-shaped circumferential groove arranged in a wall of a seating hole of an internal thread. A clamping wedge (9) is provided with spiral-shaped ribs matching a thread-shaped helical groove (6) and insertable into a recess on a tool shank (17). The groove and the ribs of the clamping wedge are provided with different thread angles. Angle of a thread flank facing a tool side is flatter than angle of the thread flank facing a machine side. The clamping wedge consists of a resilient material such as spring steel.</p> |
