<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument panel structure capable of mitigating a shock received by an occupant from a display at vehicle collision. <P>SOLUTION: A bracket 54 and a bracket 68 are fastened with a bolt 62 and a nut 66 due to a fastening force (axial force) with the bolt 62 and the nut 66 at a predetermined position in a notch 74 (opening 74A side of the notch 74). However, the bracket 54 moves to an instrument panel reinforcement 14 side along the shape of the notch 74 via the bolt 62 if a shock load larger than the fastening force is inputted. At this time, sliding resistance is generated between the bolt 62 and the nut 66, and a peripheral edge of the notch 74, and thereby shock energy is absorbed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
