PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet discharge device which can set the detection position of the loading height of sheets in a sheet discharge tray at any position, and an image formation apparatus having the same.SOLUTION: A sheet discharge device 60 is provided on a sheet discharge part of an image formation apparatus. The sheet discharge device 60 comprises a discharge roller pair 25 for discharging a printing sheet P to a sheet tray 21A, a sheet amount detection mechanism 70, and a detection position change mechanism 80. The sheet amount detection mechanism 70 detects that the loading height of sheets loaded in the discharge tray 21A reaches a predetermined detection position. The detection position change mechanism 80 enables the change of the detection position by the sheet amount detection mechanism 70. |
