<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas penetration heat treatment apparatus that can improve the quality of a product having been subjected to a gas penetration heat treatment and reduce the cost for the gas penetration heat treatment and facility costs.SOLUTION: A gas carburization device 1 as a gas penetration heat treatment device heats a work 2 with an induction coil 20 wound in a peripheral direction of a heating furnace 10. In a heating space 18 supplied with a carburization gas, the work 2 is placed on two shafts 31 so that the center axis 2 thereof is substantially parallel with the center axis 01 of the induction coil 20, and rotated in the peripheral direction by a rotating mechanism 33. Consequently, a magnetic field generated by the induction coil 20 acts uniformly on the work 2, so variance in heating among respective parts of the work 2 is reduced and the work 2 is uniformly heated in a short time. Further, the work is rotated in the peripheral direction, so the carburization gas is supplied uniformly to the work surface and carbon components included in the carburization gas uniformly penetrates the work surface.</p> |
