摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pole diagnostic method which can easily diagnose the corrosion flaw with high accuracy without exposing the buried portion of a steel pole by using an ultrasonic wave.SOLUTION: A plurality of probes of a steel pole diagnostic device 10 are attached to positions arbitrarily selected on the outer peripheral surface of a steel pole 20 on the above-ground portion of the ground contact part of the steel pole 20 built by burying the lower part thereof, an ultrasonic wave whose frequency is in a bandwidth of 630-770 kHz is emitted from the selected probe to the steel pole 20, an echo from a prescribed reference position and an echo from the underground portion defined in the steel pole 20 which have been received by the probe are selectively filtered to a frequency in a bandwidth of 270-550 kHz, the degree of corrosion is determined on the basis of a height ratio of the echo from the prescribed reference position to the echo from the underground portion, the filtered echo is displayed for each selected probe, and the determined degree of corrosion is divided into prescribed stages and displayed by color-coding for each division.</p>
