PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoacoustic microscope device capable of securing a working distance of a sufficient length and improving the detection accuracy over a large scan range.SOLUTION: The photoacoustic microscope device includes: a light source for generating excitation light for generating a photoacoustic wave; an objective lens for condensing the excitation light on a sample; a scan unit for moving the condensation position of the excitation light on the sample; a photoacoustic wave detection unit having a sensor unit for detecting the generated photoacoustic wave; and an image configuration unit for configuring an image on the basis of data acquired from the photoacoustic wave detection unit. In the sensor unit, the angle of the range in which the photoacoustic wave entering the sensor unit can be received is wider than the angle corresponding to the numerical aperture of the objective lens on the illumination side. |
