<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device of a four-wheel drive vehicle capable of suppressing deterioration of fuel consumption by reducing agitation friction when housing a gear mechanism and a clutch mechanism into the same transfer case.SOLUTION: A transfer device of a four-wheel drive vehicle includes: a gear mechanism G which is disposed on a driving branch position from right and left front wheels 6, 7 to right and left rear wheels 19, 20 and changes rotation direction of a driving force from an engine 1; a dog clutch 8 which connects/disconnects driving force transmission from the engine 1 to the gear mechanism G; and a transfer case 23 which houses the gear mechanism G and the dog clutch 8 adjacently to each other. Therein, the transfer case 23 is configured so as to divide a gear chamber 60 which houses the gear mechanism G and a clutch chamber 61 which houses the dog clutch 8 with first and second oil seals OS1, OS2, enclose first lubrication oil OIL1 into the gear chamber 60 and enclose second lubrication oil OIL2 having a viscosity lower than that of the first lubrication oil OIL1 to the cutch chamber 61.</p> |
