PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device that can shorten the time required for authentication processing of a radio communication line as a switching destination when the radio communication line is switched.SOLUTION: A radio communication device has a first authentication processor for generating a first authentication key with a first authentication parameter according to a first authentication method adapted to a first communication method, a first communication unit for performing communications with the first authentication key according to the first communication method, a switching unit for switching the communication method from the first communication method to a second communication method, a determining unit for determining whether at least a part of the first authentication parameter is contained in a second authentication parameter or not, a parameter controller for controlling to contain at least a part of the first authentication parameter in a second authentication parameter when it is determined that at least a part of the first authentication parameter is contained in the second authentication parameter, a second authentication processor for generating a second authentication key with the second authentication parameter according to a second authentication method, and a second communication unit for performing communications with the second authentication key according to the second communication method.
