A paste for a porous light reflection insulating layer contains particles (A) and particles (B) of a metallic oxide having a volume median diameter (D50) of 1-30 nm. The particles (A) are obtained by coating the surfaces of rutile-type titanium dioxide particles having a volume median diameter (D50) of 100-1000 nm with one or more coating materials selected from a silicon compound, a magnesium compound, an aluminum compound, a zirconium compound, and a calcium compound. The mass ratio of the particles (B) to the particles (A) [the particles (B)/the particles (A)] is 5/95-40/60.
