<p>The present invention relates to a computer system and, more specifically, to a socket interposer of a computer system. A socket interposer according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises an initial group of connectors, at least one of an on-board memory socket and a memory. The first connectors are configured to fit with a first form factor of a memory socket on a server board. At least one on-board memory socket includes a second group of connectors that fit with the second form factor of a memory module having a first memory type. The memory has a second memory type different from the first. The socket interposer according to the present invention provides various memory types and sizes, thereby providing improved performance and flexibility.</p> |
